Finally... FUN!

Daddy had a doctor's appointment this morning, so we drove him in to work. Even though we're not quite 100% healthy, Maia and I thought it was high time we had some fun. So we hit up the Children's Museum, woo woo! Maia has always loved the museum, and today proved to be no exception. She loves the Kid Power exhibit, seeing how fast she can pedal with her arms, running to turn the crank to power the sign, and pulling herself up as high as she can.
Another favorite activity is the bouncing ball seat... followed closely by dodgeball!
Then, of course, is the water room... what kid doesn't love to play with water, ducks, and boats?! Maia spent a long time moving the ducks around, and surprisingly managed to keep her sleeves mostly dry.
Finally, it was on to the construction zone. Maia loves pushing the trucks around, following them up and down the ramps, etc.
The highlight of the museum, however, is the... family bathroom. It has a "Mommy potty" and a "Maia potty" right next to each other. Maia LOVES the fact that her potty is just the right size for her, but looks exactly the same as a big potty. We visited the family bathroom at least three times, and I'm sure it's the first place we'll go on our next visit.

Our weekend was very quiet. We're all still recovering for our horrible colds, and didn't see much need to venture out into the dreary weather. It was nice to have an excuse to just stay home and have family time! We seem to be on the run too much of the time, and we all appreciated getting to relax and be together.
