Ithaca!

While we were in Rochester, we decided to take the girls down to Ithaca for a day.  We hadn't been there since we left in August 2004.  We were really excited to show it to the kids, and to remind ourselves that it still exists.

Our first stop when we arrived in Ithaca was to visit Mommy's former colleagues in the Executive MBA program at Cornell's Business School.  It was great seeing everyone and catching up.  We went to one of our favorite mexican restaurants for lunch, Viva Taqueira.  It was delicious and hadn't changed at all in the last five years.  After lunch, we headed up the hill to walk around the campus.

Daddy showed Maia her first glimpse of "Ithaca is Gorges:"

We made a quick stop to check in on the Law School where Daddy spent so much of his time:
And Maia had a great time playing in the arches overlooking the Law School's courtyard:
We played on the musical walk outside the main library for a while.  Maia and Cec loved the sounds of the rocks skipping across the walkway:

We walked to another gorge, remembering the many, many times we climbed up and down these steps:

We had a wonderful visit, and loved showing the kids a place we love so much!
