The Circus!

We had a great adventure on Friday... Uncle Adam called to invite us in to the city for the... Circus! How could we say no?!

Thursday night was a bit rough in the sleep department... Maia managed to take a great nap in the car on the way in, and woke up just in time for the show. We met Ad and Samantha and headed in to see the show. Maia LOVED it! Her favorite act was a clown dressed as an old woman called "Grandma" who kept interrupting the show. A very close second were the dancing dogs. There were amazing acrobats, a very cool hula hoop show, and a fantastic juggler. Maia watched with rapt attention for two full hours, and declared she wanted to go back to the circus as soon as possible. Good job Uncle Ad and Sam!!!!!

Saturday morning once again found Maia and Daddy heading off to Little Gym. They had a great time as always, and then headed to Starbucks for a treat. When they got home, they were just in time for a failed attempt at a nap before Grammy and Grampy arrived. Maia had a wonderful time entertaining them, while Mommy and Daddy had a wonderful date night.

This morning we drove G&G by Maia's new school, and then to her favorite playground. She spent a long time in the swings, demonstrated her love for the toddler house, and then went down the really fast slide with Daddy!

It was a great weekend, though we're hoping for some more of the sunshine we were teased with on Thursday!
