Hey there sweetheart. It's hard to imagine when in the future you'll be reading this, though undoubtedly that day will come much sooner than it should. It's equally hard to imagine that tomorrow is really here. When we wake up in the morning there will be time to snuggle in bed and talk about what we'll do for the day before heading down to breakfast. But after that snuggle... it will be a brand new world. It's your first day of school!
Daddy and I began the search for your school just about a year ago. We looked at every program we thought could be what you needed. And we couldn't have been more thrilled when we found Stoneridge. The school has everything we could wish for you, and we can only begin to imagine how amazing each and every day spent there will be for you. When I opened your acceptance letter, I cried. I couldn't believe my 2 1/2 year old would soon be going to school. And now... well, let's just say it's a good thing this is being typed rather than written in ink!
Each and every moment of our lives since the moment of your arrival has given us more joy than we can say. You are an amazing child. We are so blessed to watch you grow. Our greatest wish for you is to be who you are through each moment-- learning, discovering, loving, laughing, and all the other crazy attributes of a life lived joyously. Your journey began a little more than three years ago, and tomorrow it expands to include so much more than we can begin to imagine.
It has been equally joyous to watch you and Cecily. We could say we're amazed at how well you've taken to being a big sister, and yet... we never had any doubts. We can't wait to see the adventures and mischief the two of you will no doubt bring to our life.
Tomorrow will be thrilling for all of us, and bittersweet for Mommy and Daddy. Here are many of our favorite photos from the last three years.
We love you! We're so excited for you! Enjoy this new adventure!
All our love, Mommy and Daddy (and Cecily, Gritty, and Maddy)
